Plasti-Co has been supplying barrels, screws and front end components to the plastics industry since 1984. As a division of AIC, Plasti-Co has access to all the engineering and expertise that the parent company has accumulated in building machine and temperature controls associated with plastics processing equipment.

Plasti-Co designs screws specifically to help customers with processing problems and productivity improvement.

Along with their extensive knowledge of screw design, they offer the largest selection of nozzle components in the world. This includes: mixing, shut-off, filter, internally heated and special nozzle designs per customer requests.

Plasti-Co also designs and builds all of their own screw tips for injection molding including three piece, four piece, locking ring and ball check style valves. Whether it is valves, screws or barrels, Plasti-Co has the knowledge to apply the right component to the right application including designs to deal with corrosive, abrasive and shear sensitive materials.

Feed Screws

Plastic-Co will design general-purpose screws with the flexibility to run a wide variety of materials or design a custom screw to match your material needs. These designs incorporate mixing, improved output, low shear designs for heat sensitive plastics, venting, up-sizing and down-sizing injection units.

Plasti-Co supplies new barrels manufactured from a wide variety of materials and can repair most injection molding barrels by installing a sleeve manufactured from any of the materials used on new barrels.
